The shop is a truck.
Owner-operated, based in Godley, Texas. Built around one idea: a good diesel mechanic should come to the equipment, not the other way around.
Iron Line Diesel & Hoist Services started with the same phone call every fleet owner in Johnson County has made: the truck is down, the shop is booked out two weeks, and a tow costs more than the repair. We built a business around not making that call.
Our service truck is the shop. It carries OEM-level diagnostic software for Cummins, Detroit, PACCAR, Cat, and Duramax, an air compressor, a welder, hydraulic hose and fittings, and the parts that fail most on working trucks. When it rolls to your yard, most repairs are finished before it leaves.
The “Hoist” in the name means cranes. Boom trucks, knuckle-boom and service-truck cranes, overhead bridge and jib cranes, hoists, and winches are the part most mobile mechanics won’t touch. We repair the hydraulics, wire rope, and controls behind them, and we do the annual inspection and load test on site so the crane never has to leave the job.
We work for owner-operators with one truck and for outfits with thirty. Same mechanic, same straight quote.
